We would like to wish our customers and colleagues all the very best as you return to school this month. I know many of you have been working over the Summer break, making sure that preparations are completed for the safe re-opening of your school and we appreciate the unique challenges that you have had to overcome during the last six months.
We have been using Zoom and Teams very successfully to deliver our telecoms audits and phone system procurement projects since March, in addition to this we have been advising schools on how phone systems can help with social distancing and remote working to assist with COVID-19 restrictions. Our plan is to continue offering our services remotely to minimise disruption and help keep our Schools safe, we are however happy to visit any School that prefers a face to face meeting.
We are currently busy writing presentations / workshops for many of the countries regional online SBM forums, our local groups include LASBM, SASBM, SYSBL, CASBAM and HEYSBL. These can be viewed in the newly formed Learning Zones that have been set up on the regional group websites. We have already completed our first presentation which focuses on helping schools prepare for the BT Network Switch Off and are in the process of writing two further workshops which will be available soon.
